'90 Day Fiancé' Star Angela Deem Talks Freely About Her Cosmetic Procedures

Well, it looks like fans of 90 Day Fiancé can't seem to escape Angela Deem even if they tried! Each of her dramatic appearances in the franchise only reinforces her status as a major reality TV villain —and let's face it, it's also filling up her bank account!

Now, as for those fans who love to throw shade online, they're the ones funding Angela's lifestyle, including all the cosmetic procedures she openly discusses! With that said, read on to learn all about Angela's plastic surgery journey.

While Angela exudes confidence in her appearance and body now, a few years back, she hit a bit of a health bump in the road. She experienced a health scare related to substantial weight gain, which prompted her to undergo weight loss surgery.

In fact, in March 2021, Angela told Us Weekly that she had gastric sleeve surgery in August 2020. She explained, "I've always wanted to enhance my look for [my husband] Michael because of his age, but this journey — people need to know — I felt like I would have died without the weight-loss surgery. I worried, if I don't get on the table, I'm gonna die."

Up until the surgery, Angela had been calm — but it all hit her on the day of the operation.

"I was still ready, but started thinking, 'What if I don't come out of anesthesia?'" the reality star added. "I'm always working doubles, and, you know, sleeping three hours, but as you get older, these things start clicking in your mind because your age is telling you, 'You're not as young as you used to be.'"

Angela also disclosed that when she underwent the initial weight-loss surgery, she opted to have a breast reduction as well. She told Us Weekly, "I said, 'Listen, I'm not going back and forth to California!' I'm going to do everything I can while I'm there, and I'm strong, and I'm going to be all right. I said, 'This is something I need to do.'"

Nevertheless, during the Season 6 tell-all of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Angela proudly unveiled her breast augmentation: "I was itsy bitsy titty Angie, and I said, 'Put the motherf–kers back,'" she quipped.

Similar to millions worldwide, Angela also gets Botox. However, she has faced significant criticism for this choice. In early June 2023, Angela posted a video on Instagram featuring herself and other clients receiving Botox injections from Dr. Jennifer Anne DiLandro.

Despite several Instagram users expressing support for Angela in the comments section, one troll made it crystal clear that they didn't approve of her decision.

"What a waste of money. [You're] just an old hillbilly," the "fan" commented. "Might as well save the money for your grandbabies."

Rather than backing down, Angela didn't tolerate the mean comment. The following day, June 6, she publicly exposed the troll on Instagram. Angela shared a video displaying screenshots of the offending comment and a close-up of the troll's profile picture.

In her caption, Angela wrote, "Here we go again," adding, "Mmmm, speechless lollol bahaha." She didn't stop there, continuing to criticize the troll in the comments section: "There ​[is] your ​[one] minute of [my] attention," she wrote, punctuating her remark with several clapping emojis.

Furthermore, Angela underwent a complete dental transformation! At 18, she suffered an accident that, combined with smoking and menopause, led to tooth loss and insecurity over time. So, in a Season 4 episode of 90 Day Diaries, Angela expressed her desire to replace the dentures she received at 18 with implants.

In Episode 8, Angela's periodontist, Dr. Matt Asaro, outlined his plan to provide her with a fixed lower denture for her lower arch and a conventional upper denture for her upper arch. The extensive procedure lasted five hours, but it was all worth it since Angela now proudly displays her dazzling smile at every opportunity!
