Are 'Summer House' Stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Still Together? They've Faced Challenges

Fans have watched as Summer House couple Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have weathered many storms in their relationship. From infidelity issues to different lifestyles, the two have certainly had a bumpy ride along the way.

Accordingly, viewers are wondering whether Kyle and Amanda — who got married in 2021 after getting engaged in 2018 — are still together, or whether this is another Summer House romance that bit the dust.

In the Season 8 premiere (which aired on Feb. 22, 2024), fans learn that Kyle and Amanda are having some issues. They’re on different pages in their relationship, and they argue over how much time they’ve been able to spend together.

Kyle says he wants them to spend more time together since they’re an “anti-attached-at-the-hip couple.” Amanda says it’s his fault they don’t spend time together because he’s always at the office.

Amanda has no patience for Kyle anymore, and she said in a separate interview that she keeps coming back to the house every year so she can spend time with people other than Kyle.

She also brought up the pregnancy scare from Season 3 of Winter House, claiming that they haven’t been in a good place since then.

In fact, Kyle said in the Season 8 Summer House premiere that their different views on having kids had been a point of contention in their relationship. But the couple — who live together in New York City and have a joint business venture called Loverboy (a sparkling hard tea) — had both come to agree that they're not ready to welcome any kids yet, and are planning to "go back to the basics" in their own relationship.

Over on Reddit, a viewer took to the SummerHouseBravo subreddit in February 2024 to present evidence as to why "Amanda doe not like Kyle." The viewer explained their theory:

"1.) Always visibly annoyed by him 2.) Always talking about not wanting to spend time with him 3.) They have been married for years and both want kids but keep saying they aren’t ready. What? Kyle is 40 (ALL CAPS). Y’all ARE ready for kids just not with EACHOTHERRRRR 4.) They have relationship problems literally every summer."

Another viewer replied: "Agreed. Amanda and Kyle’s relationships reminds me a lot of Katie and Tom Schwartz’s former relationship. I feel like the reason both women went through with the marriage was sunk cost fallacy."

Another fan noted that the couple "both seem to just co-exist."
