Barry Keoghan Isn't Married, but He Appears to Be Dating This Popular Singer

Irish actor Barry Keoghan launched into the pop culture stratosphere with his cameo appearance as the Joker in 2022's The Batman and his Oscar nomination for 2022's The Banshees of Inisherin. He has shown no signs of slowing down.

But who is the Saltburn actor dating? He actually shares a child with one of his exes. Below, we take a look at Barry's dating history — including the rumors about him and a certain former Disney star.

In December 2023, Barry was pictured out to dinner in Los Angeles with singer-actor and former Disney star Sabrina Carpenter. While fans weren’t quite sure if the two were dating, they were later spotted attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles in March 2024 and even posed for their first photo together.

Fast forward to April 2024, and the two are enjoying their visit at Disney's California Adventure.

Although neither uses their respective Instagram accounts to post about their budding romance, they do appear to be dating.

Barry reportedly began dating Scottish orthodontic therapist Alyson Sandro in February 2021. They went red-carpet official at the premiere of Eternals in October 2021, and they announced in March 2022 that they were expecting a baby together.

On March 27, 2022, Barry posted a photo at a baby shower jumping for joy, with the caption, "I don’t know why others have [their] opinions. WE ARE HAPPY HERE."

It sounds like despite his privacy about the nature of his and Alyson's relationship, there were a few voices of dissent. Nevertheless, the pair looked very happy and excited to be new parents!

Just a few short months later in August 2022, Barry once again took to Instagram to announce the happy news that the couple's son, Brando, had been born. "Welcome to the pack," Barry captioned his first public photo of his son, his partner, and himself.

After Barry was announced as a nominee for the Oscar for best supporting actor for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin, he gave a shoutout to his young son in his Instagram Story. "That one's for you, Brando. Daddy loves you," he wrote.

Barry and Alyson reportedly moved with baby Brando to Scotland in November 2022, but by July 2023, the couple were said to have split. A source told The Sun that "[Barry's] partying caused arguments" and that “Alyson also suspects he has got close to someone else."

Per RSVP Live, Barry dated and lived with makeup artist Shona Guerin for roughly three years between 2017 and 2020. Previously, the Irish actor told Lucy Kennedy of Living with Lucy fame how grateful he was for Shona's support. "I’d be lost without her. I’m telling you that. I wouldn't be the man I am now without her," he said.

Barry also mentioned that his co-stars, Colin Farrell and Cillian Murphy, gave him some words of relationship advice. "Any of the lads I work with, Colin [Farrell], Cillian [Murphy], they're always like, 'Don't mess this up. They see how important she is."

Shona also spoke about their relationship to Evoke and described how they first met. "We met on Good Friday in a pub in Kerry, when we shouldn’t have been in a pub."

She continued, “I was working in the pub at the time and he was actually there with another girl, which is a debate we have quite a lot, because I wasn’t aware, and then I was aware and it was too late. But yeah, he just wouldn’t take no for an answer [when he asked Shona out] and now I’m still stuck with him!"

The pair first indicated their relationship was over after quietly unfollowing one another on social media.
