Mitchell From 'Farmer Wants a Wife' Says "There Is Definitely That Bond" Between the Guys (EXCLUSIVE)

Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife is here.

That means, we finally get to know the four country men in search of a wife to build a life with on their farms. So who are they? The guys range in age from 23 to 42 years old and live on land spread out from Colorado to Florida.

Importantly, the farmers have host Jennifer Nettles on their side. We spoke exclusively with two of the guys, Ty and Mitchell, about filming the show, allowing cameras into their lives, and getting to know a handful of women at one time.

To be honest, though, all four guys are a catch — so let's meet them.

If you want to live in Missouri on a farm, then perhaps Ty is for you!

The first farmer on Farmer Wants a Wife Season 2 is 42 years old, and has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. Now, he's looking for love and companionship again. Ty explained on the show that the prospect of finding a partner is difficult at this stage of his life.

“It’s hard to find, especially at my age at 42,” he explains on the show. “Being a father, there’s a different dynamic of a woman that I’m looking for. There’s just not a lot of ladies that are close to my age, and that really want to share the same experience.”

When we asked him how filming with his daughter fits in, he shared that Lennon welcomed the cameras and the "excitement" of it all on the farm. She also helped Ty as he tried to figure out his best match among the ladies.

Perhaps a farm life in Tennessee is more your speed, and if so, meet Mitchell, who is 27.

He was open about building friendships with the other guys while filming, even if the point of Farmer Wants a Wife is about finding a romantic partner for life.

"In this reality world, you go through this trauma and you create this bond because there's only three other guys that are going through it with you," he told Distractify. "And even the ladies themselves, they all understand that specific dynamic of reality that we're in at the moment. And you do create a friendship that is different than any other."

Meet Brandon, a 29-year-old potato farmer in Colorado.

He believes that Farmer Wants a Wife will prove out whether a potential partner is for him — or not. We see his highs and lows with the ladies on his potato farm, and how he navigates the murky waters of drama between a couple of the women vying for his affection.

While we didn't get a chance to chat with Brandon as well, viewers do see him bond with the other guys during the group outings on Farmer Wants a Wife. And since the other guys are in the same boat as him, in terms of the difficulties in finding a wife on their respective farms, you can see a certain camaraderie between them.

The fourth and final farmer looking for love this season is Nathan, who is 23 and farms citrus fruits in sunny Florida. He's on the opposite end of the spectrum from Ty, and believes his age also prevents him from finding "the one."

“Being 23, there’s a lot of women that are my age that aren’t ready to settle down," he admits on the show. "I want somebody to build a life with at an early age and be a young dad. And that’s hard to find at my age."

Emotions run high among the women — and the farmers — as they hope to find forever connections.
