With new shows popping up in The Bachelor franchise, like The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette, there's almost always something new to look forward to from the dating shows. This is why fans are still hoping for Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, even though some worry that the spinoff was canceled at some point. But was Bachelor in Paradise actually canceled or is the network simply having a hard time finding the right spot for it in 2024?
This Bachelor spinoff sees groups of cast-offs from both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette meet up and form love connections at a tropical beach-front resort. In some cases, these connections even result in legitimate relationships that last well beyond filming. Because of that, it's hard to imagine that fans would be deprived of the tenth season.
Is 'Bachelor in Paradise' canceled?
There was a time when Bachelor in Paradise was canceled, if only temporarily. That was in 2020, and it was due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the following year, the show was back in full force. After that, new seasons premiered around the same, toward the end of the summer, in each year that followed. But as far as Season 10 goes for 2024, there is no confirmation either way.
ABC hasn't announced that the show is canceled, but there hasn't been an announcement about the premiere date either. This could be because the network has its hands full with The Bachelorette and The Golden Bachelorette both premiering in the second half of 2024. However, it also doesn't make sense to forgo a season of Bachelor in Paradise altogether.
There are plenty of rumors, however. According to one Bachelor Nation fan on reddit, there are rumors that producers are looking for a new spot to film Bachelor in Paradise and that, because of that search, Season 10 won't happen in 2024. The same user theorized that they believe ABC would film The Bachelorette and The Golden Bachelorette back to back and air those instead of another Paradise season, while taking " a break" from BiP for now. And that seems like the most logical explanation at this time.
Wells Adams might not be on 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 10.
Former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams is also known to fans as the trusty bartender on Paradise. But in a March 2024 episode of his podcast Your Favorite Thing with Wells & Brandi, Wells talked about being out of a job. Whether he meant that permanently or just for the time being in regards to Paradise, it could be another clue that Season 10 is on the back burner for now.
What happened to the couples from 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 9?
John Henry Spurlock and Kat Izzo, as well as Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei, left Season 9 engaged. However, both couples later announced their respective splits in December 2023. Aven Jones and Kylee Russell didn't get engaged, but they did leave Paradise together. Unfortunately, they too announced a breakup in December 2023.
'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 10 could feature guys from Jenn Tran's season of 'The Bachelorette.'
Each season of Paradise typically includes men and women from the most recent seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, as well as past seasons. But because of that, it makes sense for some of the men to come from Jenn's pool of cast-offs. And even if Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 doesn't air until 2025, that could still happen.
