Jenelle Evans Is Ready To Move Forward From Her Estranged Husband: "Bad Energy Be Gone"

Years after her Teen Mom departure, Jenelle Evans is back, and if fans have it their way, she isn't going anywhere again anytime soon. She made her return to the franchise in a June 2024 episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, and the title could not be more fitting for where she's at in her life now. This return comes after Jenelle separated from estranged husband David Eason, and viewers are curious about if Jenelle is dating anyone new now.

Although Jenelle doesn't immediately reveal any details about a new beau in her life when she meets with Teen Mom bestie Briana DeJesus, she is ready for a new start. It's entirely possible that this new phase in Jenelle's life involves dating someone new and moving on from David completely, even before their divorce is finalized.

In May 2024, Jenelle shared a TikTok where it appeared as though she was holding a man's arm. Some fans claimed this was just to troll David, while others took it to mean she had moved on. And she has, because in another TikTok video she added the caption "bad energy be gome," and burned photos with her and David in them. Still, some commented under the video that they thought the arm belonged to Jenelle's business manager, August Keen.

Jenelle mentions him when she appears on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter for the first time when she says he isn't "pushing" her or making her "rush into anything" with him. But she also says they've been friends for years, and they're just good friends. However, some fans believe Jenelle is secretly (or maybe not so secretly, if the TikTok is any indication) dating August now.

On a reddit thread about Jenelle and her good friend/manager August, someone commented that "every time she said something like 'I'm not trying to start a new relationship right away,'" it made the user roll their eyes. And the fact that Jenelle says this multiple times in regards to August definitely makes it seem like they could be seeing each other. For now, though, Jenelle is playing her cards close to her chest, and she hasn't shared any confirmed details on social media or otherwise.

Even if dating someone new isn't on Jenelle's agenda, potentially relocating could be. She says on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter that August is looking at houses for her in Las Vegas, while she looks for a potential new home in Florida. She does share one of her kids, Kaiser, with ex Nathan Griffith and he does reside in Florida, for what it's worth.

But it doesn't look like Jenelle has made any big moves. She even shared on Instagram that she enrolled her kids in a summer camp near their home, so it's unlikely that she moved out of the house and off the land she once shared with David. When something happens, though, fans will know, because Jenelle isn't afraid to share most of her life updates with her followers.
