For those unaware, Summer House: Martha's Vineyard centers on Black professionals and entrepreneurs who want to show off their friendships on national TV. The genesis of this group traces back to Jasmine Ellis Cooper and her hubby Silas, who beckoned them to spend the summer in the place where their love story began.

Ahead of Season 1, Jordan exclusively told Distractify that she was single and wasn't dating anyone when she joined Summer House. But even if she did, the self-proclaimed "private" influencer said she rarely shared her personal life publicly, something she hoped to change after her reality TV debut.

"[I] definitely didn't ever plan to be on reality TV," Jordan explained. "I'm a pretty private person, so I didn't know how that would work, but being able to do the show with friends and in a place I've been before made it a lot easier to try!"

Jordan sat down with us again ahead of Season 2 and provided further insights into her love life, briefly discussing her love triangle with Alex Propson and Danielle Olivera during Season 3 of Winter House. Reflecting on the experience, she remarked, "[Alex] was fun to flirt with. I think I was open about that. I feel like he was a great friend."

However, when contemplating a potential life partner, Jordan asserted to Distractify, "I don't think my man is on TV. I don't think he's in the scene. ... That's a little bit of a turn-off for me. It's one thing, if like, we're at the same place, and it's in the house, but outside of that? Absolutely not. I don't like leftovers. Potatoes are the only ones."

Jordan also clarified that she isn't in a serious relationship before mentioning a desire to have a "hoe phase."

"I don't know that I am approaching, I'm waiting to be approached. I feel like when the time is right, I will find, or my mind will find me," she explained. "I think right now, after being celibate for two years, purposely and non-purposely at this point, I want to go through a hoe phase. I feel like that's what I need. I feel like I need a year of having some fun and doing things and then give me another year, and I'll be ready to attract the one.”

Jordan said she became celibate months before joining the show.

Before taping began, Jordan told us she decided to abstain from sex. When she filmed the show, Jordan said she had reached one year of being celibate. And while some wouldn’t be able to live in the same house with other singles during their celibacy journey, she said she felt it was a necessary step in her life, even if it meant she couldn’t have a summer fling.

“At the time, it very much felt like a cleanse of sorts,” Jordan explained of becoming celibate. “Like I wanted to really focus on myself and challenge myself to hitting a goal, and to me, men and relationships became a distraction at one point, so I wanted to rid myself of that for a time.”

Summer House: Martha's Vineyard airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo. Stream the next day on Peacock.
