Actor Judge Reinhold came up in the 1980s and he hasn’t backed down. He even returned for the fourth installment of Beverly Hills Cop on Netflix. The July 2024 film — Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F — is the first film in the franchise since 1994, and marked Judge’s first project since 2017.

Since Judge has been flying relatively under the radar, fans are naturally wondering about what his net worth is. He even spoke with Vanity Fair in June 2024 in one of his most high-profile interviews in years, in which he revealed why and how his career has stalled over recent decades. But how has that affected his monetary health? We’re diving into Judge’s net worth and long Hollywood career to figure it out.

What is Judge Reinhold's net worth?

According to The Richest, Judge’s estimated net worth is about $21.5 million, which would make sense, considering his long career. While other outlets have placed Judge’s net worth at a mere $2 million, with almost 100 professional acting jobs under his belt, very few scandals, and likely some real estate and investment opportunities, Judge should be sitting pretty on more than a few million dollars.

He started acting in 1979 after graduating with a BFA from the University of North Carolina’s School of the Arts. Unlike many Hollywood greats, Judge didn’t have any family in the industry, but was able to rise up thanks to his charm and “unwarranted enthusiasm” that he still carries today.

But Judge shared with Vanity Fair that his career shifted after the 1988 box-office flop Vice Versa, which he believes was “an executive murder plot.” The producer, David Puttnam, “wanted to bring the price of lead actors down, but make the backend profits real. I believed him,” Judge said. “I really did. And he wasn’t, unfortunately, around long enough to prove that formula.”

Judge felt that the studio executives pushed Vice Versa to the backburner to stifle David’s vision of profit-sharing with the actors. Since then, he has gone on to do some other projects — mostly indie films — although millennials might recognize him as Dr. Neil in the Santa Clause movies as well as the “close talker” aka Aaron in Seinfeld, for which he was nominated for an Emmy.

Judge told Vanity Fair he was looking toward producing and starring in a film about Ray Wallace, a man who “pretended to be Bigfoot in the Northwest woods for 30 years” as a “benevolent creature.” As far as other sources of income, he paid just $126,000 for a Little Rock, Ark., home in 2015 that’s now rumored to be valued at about $1 million.
