Before she was known as a TV personality from The Real Housewives of New York City, designer Leah McSweeney had already launched a successful fashion line.

The self-made millionaire is a fashion designer, known for her clothing line Married to the Mob. She started the collection after getting into an altercation with the NYPD and winning a $75,000 settlement. She used that money to start the clothing line in 2004.

"The cops were beating up a friend of mine outside the Hammerstein Ballroom at around 4 a.m.," she told the Daily Mail in 2010. "I had a bottle in my hand and, though I shouldn't have, I threw it. That's when the cop punched me."

The single mom of one — who went on to star on Seasons 12 and 13 of RHONY, as well as Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip — is now reportedly worth $3.5 million.

Along with her clothing line, Leah is also a columnist for Penthouse and has contributed her writings to other publications as well. She also launched the podcasts Improper Etiquette as well as The Leah McSweeney Show.

In a lawsuit filed in February 2024 against Bravo Media, Andy Cohen, NBC Universal Media, Warner Bros. Discovery, Shed Media US, and producers John Paparazzo, Lisa Shannon, and Darren Ward, Leah alleged that she was pressured to drink in an unsafe working environment that contributed to harming her mental health and well-being. Essentially, she believes that the producers knew she had mental health and alcohol issues, but supplied her with alcohol anyway and encouraged her to take part in activities that could harm her sobriety and well-being.

Leah also claimed that Andy Cohen uses cocaine with some of the Housewives, and in turn gives them better edits on their respective shows.

Part of the lawsuit reads: "Cohen intentionally uses cocaine with his employees to further promote a workplace culture that thrives off drug and alcohol abuse, which leads to a failure to accommodate employees who are disabled and attempting to remain substance free."

It goes on: "Cohen’s preferred workplace environment, which is fueled with substances and illicit behavior, permeates every aspect of Defendant Bravo productions."

Per Deadline, Andy's rep called these allegations "completely false."
