Are Nigel and Christine Still Together After Their 'Perfect Match' Love Affair? (SPOILERS)

Season 2 of Perfect Match ended on Friday, June 21, 2024. For fans of the Netflix dating show, the season certainly wasn't long enough. Still, the finale offered closure and new beginnings for several couples.

One couple that caught fans' attention during the season was Nigel Jones and Christine Obanor.

Nigel and Christine's connection was a Too Hot to Handle match made in heaven. Not only did they both star on the show, but they also had previously met in New York before signing on to Perfect Match. Kismet or nah?

Now that we know the season ended on a high note for their blossoming romance, fans want to know if Nigel and Christine are still together or if their love affair was a "what happens in Tulum..." situation.

Here's what to know.

In the Season 2 finale of Perfect Match, Christine and Nigel discuss their feelings for one another more. During their final date, which included them rolling around in paint on a giant, Bachelor-like canvas, Christine shared that she was finally ready for a relationship after being single for ten years.

She also confirmed that she felt Nigel was her "perfect match" even though they had only been together for a short time.

Nigel also felt like Christine was "the one" and expressed as much on her date. He told her he didn't want their romance to end once the show ends and said in a confessional that he can see himself with his match after the show ends.

Following the date, Christine and Nigel matched with each other during the final night. The finale ended with host Nick Lachey crowning the couple the winners of the competition. The competition then catches up with Nigel and Christine "four weeks later" and shows them on the Thailand bae-cation they won in the finale.

As of this writing, it's unclear if Christine and Nigel are still together. While we know they were in a good place four weeks after the finale, neither of them have discussed their relationship on their social media accounts. Nigel, however, does have some promotional videos for the show and behind-the-scenes photos.

Christine, a model and content creator, continued posting content on her Instagram account that was unrelated to Perfect Match. However, the pair's lack of #relationshipgoals posts doesn't mean they're no longer in a relationship. After falling for one another on national TV, Nigel and Christine could be open to keeping their new love under wraps for now.

While the Perfect Match lovers' ending is unclear, they seemingly wanted their romance to work. In the finale, Christine said she "manifested" Nigel and called him her "person," despite him not being the "alpha male" their co-star, Kaz Bishop felt she needed.

Since Perfect Match does not have a Season 2 reunion, we'll have to wait for the Perfect Match winners to hard launch their relationship when the time is right!
