If you have a deep affinity for TikTok influencers, chances are the name Remi Bader sounds familiar. The content creator and model is known for her realistic clothing hauls and has garnered millions of followers on the short-form video platform.
As usual, fame — especially in the social media space — comes with a fascination about an influencer’s love life. Many influencers have no qualms about being open with their romantic lives, while others are partial to privacy. Remi has always been open about her love life, even when it's not looking the brightest.
Who is Remi Bader dating? She's currently single.
Though Remi had been happily posting content about her relationship for the past couple of years, in March 2024 she posted a video of her openly sobbing, with the text overlay reading "When he says doing it over text is easier for him than doing it in person after almost two years together."
Remi has since deleted that video and released a new one addressing the breakup, though she's still clearly upset about the split.
"I am not going to be the person to bad mouth someone online that's been in my life for almost two years," she started her video, confirming that she is now single.
"This is someone that I thought I was going to marry. This was my best friend. I've never been so close to someone in my life, and I just really, really just wanted to believe that this was who I would spend the rest of my life with," she continued.
Remi went on to say that though she knows that breakups are meant to be hard, she's struggling with the reality of adjusting to life without someone who was once such an integral part of your every day. Though they had been talking about a future together (with the possibility of kids on the table), she said that she now has to adjust to the idea of that future with someone else.
"Instead of feeling like 'Well now that's over and I'll never have that,' I have to believe that I'll have that with someone," she said. "I can picture it, I just don't know who it'll be with. And I know I'll be OK."
The comments are filled with supportive messages from brands, celebrities, and other creators on TikTok. Lili Reinhart wrote "It's so hard to wrap your head around someone being there one day and gone the next. Your heart will heal. Let yourself take the time and don't judge yourself during the process."
Too Hot to Handle star Francesca Fargo wrote "I'm so sorry... This WILL make you stronger. Keep your head up and every day will get easier I promise."
Even makeup brand Maybelline commented "Sending you lots of love and healing."
Remi dated Keyveat Postell for about a year and a half.
Remi started seeing Keyveat Postell in September 2022, and as recently as Valentine's Day she was sharing lovely relationship content with her then-partner.
In a Sept. 4, 2023, Instagram post, Remi celebrated the one-year anniversary of their relationship. The post highlighted the couple enjoying each other with a carousel of photos and videos.
“ONE YEAR WITH YOU! And what a year it's been. A year may not be long for some people, but for a 28-year-old gal who has her first boyfriend, it's a very big deal to me,” Remi wrote in the caption.
Throughout their relationship, she was transparent about Keyveat being her first boyfriend, and used this as a point to encourage her followers to do things by their own timeline, regardless of what others expected.
"I've learned this year that there is someone out there for everyone. Someone who finds all of the things you feel are negatives about yourself to be so amazing. I also think it's important to share that there is also no timeline any of us need to follow," she captioned the one year anniversary post. "There is no rush, and whether you're 27 or 67 and meet your first significant other, there is simply nothing wrong with that."
It's clear Remi has a long road of healing ahead of her, but with the authentic platform she's built (coupled with these new life experiences), she'll be just fine. We're hoping her next love will have more respect for her than to break up over text.
