Singer and actress Taylor Swift got her big break in 2006, following the release of her debut album, which featured her hit singles "Teardrops on My Guitar" and "Our Song." Taylor's success continued with the release of subsequent albums "Fearless" and "Speak Now."

In 2012, Taylor made the shift to pop music, releasing four more albums — "Red," "1989," "Reputation," and "Lover" — featuring some of her biggest hits including "I Knew You Were Trouble," "Blank Space," and "You Need to Calm Down." She went on to embrace a more folk vibe for her most recent albums, "Folklore" and "Evermore."

The masters of her first six albums were purchased in 2019 by Scooter Braun's company Ithaca Holdings for $300 million, which prompted Taylor to accuse the music manager of  taking "her life's work." Taylor has since announced she would be re-recording her 2008 album, "Fearless."   

Taylor has won 11 Grammy Awards, including three Album of the Year wins, and has sold over 50 million albums worldwide. She has also acted in several movies such as Valentine's Day and Cats.
