Who Left 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test'? Running List by Week

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Season 2 of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.
Fox's reality series Special Forces: World's Toughest Test follows 14 celebrities who are pushed to their breaking points both mentally and physically. The celebs must face their fears and compete in military exercises inspired by real-life Special Forces operatives.
Will all 14 celebs survive the next 10 days?
Between the freezing mountainous New Zealand climate and the physically intimidating challenges, Special Forces isn't for the faint of heart. To leave the series, contestants can either be "medically tapped" aka they are forced to leave due to injury, fail the training course, or choose to leave on their own accord (which is called a voluntary withdrawal).
Each week, fans are on the edge of their seats waiting to see who will rise to victory and who will fall. Keep reading to find out who went home on Special Forces.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 1?
The premiere of Special Forces followed the 14 recruits during their first day at base camp. The exercises were grueling, with competitors needing to walk across some metal scaffolding suspended hundreds of feet up in the air. Most of the competitors failed this task, but a few including Savannah Chrisley, Tyler Cameron, Bode Miller, and Dez Bryant made it across.
After the first challenge, the competitors were led to their barracks, where they assumed they were going to sleep off the day's efforts. Unfortunately for them, they were led outside late at night and forced to participate in another hour of grueling exercise involving heavy rocks that they had to lift above their heads and carry around the yard while lunging.
Tara Reid and JoJo Siwa got a stern talking to by the staff, but neither were sent home. By the end of Episode 1, all of the competitors remained in the competition — but we know they won't all make it through the entire season.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 2?
Three celebrities voluntarily withdrew in Episode 2.
Tara Reid was the first to remove her numbered armband after struggling to carry her 35-pound rucksack to the face-down abseiling challenge. She complained to the staff about it not being fair for everyone’s pack to be the same weight (granted, she appears to be one of the lightest competitors this season). When the staff proved unsympathetic, Tara made the decision to leave.
Angela White (aka Blac Chyna) was the second competitor to leave the competition. She struggled with knee pain in the cold water plunge but managed to push through to the next challenge, the face-down abseil. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to climb over the railing to begin abseiling and she left the competition.
As Angela was struggling to climb over the railing, Dez Bryant was left dangling with the harness pushing uncomfortably into his abdomen. When he finally got the go-ahead to abseil after Angela withdrew from the competition, he stormed down the course and then launched into a rant at the staff for leaving him up there.
Dez tore his armband off in fury but later came back to base camp to apologize for his actions. Unfortunately, the decision was already made and he was removed from the competition.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 3?
Episode 3 saw another three celebrities bow out from the competition. Former basketball player Robert Horry and actor Brian Austin Green bowed out first thing in the morning on Day 3, prior to any challenges.
Savanna Chrisley made it through the first challenge (albeit with a failure), but voluntarily withdrew before attempting the backward dive at night. We're now down to only eight competitors this season.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 4?
Only one competitor left the show in Episode 4: Kelly Rizzo, wife of the late comedian Bob Saget. She appeared to throw out her back during a challenge requiring two teams of four celebrities to carry a 200-lb boat across uneven terrain and ended up voluntarily withdrawing after the first leg of the challenge.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 5?
None of the recruits left the competition in tonight's episode, but there were two who seemed to be struggling the most: former Bachelor star Nick Viall and alpine skier Bode Miller. Both men were pulled aside for a strict talk with the Staff. Will they make it through the next episode? Time will tell.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 6?
Episode 6 featured one withdrawal. After struggling with an increased heart rate overnight, recruit No. 1, Jack Osbourne went to see the on-site medic. Given his preexisting multiple sclerosis diagnosis, the doctor advised him to sit out that day's trials and remain under medical surveillance. Ultimately, the doctor insisted on medically withdrawing Jack.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 7?
Episode 7 also featured one voluntary withdrawal. Bode Miller left the competition after a challenge requiring the recruits to drag a sled filled with gear across 2 miles of difficult terrain. While he was able to complete that task, the follow-up directions to bear crawl back over the terrain put Bode over the edge. He had been struggling with a sprained groin muscle and was ultimately unable to keep going.
Although there was only one withdrawal in Episode 7, a medical withdrawal was teased for the next episode — we'll have to see what happens.
Who left 'Special Forces' in Episode 8?
Episode 8 started with five competitors and ended with only three. Tom Sandoval failed to personalize himself during the interrogation portion of the final challenge and was thus removed from the competition by The Umpire.
JoJo Siwa also left during the interrogation phase, voluntarily withdrawing after being forced to listen to unpleasant noises for several hours.
Who passed selection in 'Special Forces' Season 2?
By the end of the interrogation phase, three celebrity recruits remained: Erin Jackson, Tyler Cameron, and Nick Viall. Ultimately, all three were given the good news that they passed recruitment.
