Viewers of The Real Housewives of Dubai were excited to see Caroline Brooks return to the Bravo series for Season 2. After showing fans her glamorous life in the desert in Season 1, Caroline’s sophomore season continues her quest for “financial independence” with her consulting business and the growth of the beauty business, Glass House Salon and Spa. The no-nonsense star also snuck in shade to deliver to her co-stars while building her empire.
Regrettably, Caroline's entry into RHODubai in Season 2 was accompanied by a heart-wrenching twist in her personal life. Just before the season's premiere, she made a solemn announcement, revealing her need for time away from the cameras. Caroline told her supporters via X, formerly Twitter that her niece was murdered.
Here’s what we know about the RHODubai star’s niece and her untimely passing.
Who was Caroline Brooks’ niece?
Throughout her time on The Real Housewives of Dubai, Caroline has detailed information about her family, including her son, Adam, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Zoran. However, in June 2024, she shared tragic news about her niece.
While we don’t know Caroline’s niece’s name, the Bravo star affectionately called her “P” on several social media posts. She first shared the news of her niece’s death on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
In the post, Caroline, who moved to Dubai in 2010, would be with her family in Boston following the news of P’s death.
"My niece was murdered last night,” Caroline confirmed. “Words can’t express how heartbroken I am. Shock is an understatement.”
“Packing up and heading to America,” she continued. “Will take a pause from socials. Congrats to my cast on season 2 of #RHODubai. I dedicate my second season to my niece."
In her posts, Caroline shared that her niece lived in Boston and that they were extremely close. Her captions on P’s photos show that Caroline was an integral part of her life, often packing her school lunches and letting her niece try on her clothes when she lived in Boston.
Caroline Brooks asked that everyone “leave me alone forever” as she mourns her niece’s death.
Caroline didn’t dive into how her niece’s murder occurred. The choice is not to disclose how P died or her full name to protect her and her family’s privacy.
What Caroline wants her supporters to know is how much she loves her niece, whom she also calls “sweetie pie.” In another Instagram Story slide, she said her niece’s death felt “unreal” and reflected on the moments they shared as a family. The Dubai star also continued to ask for time to heal away from social media as Season 2 continues.
“This isn't real,” Caroline professed. “There is no way. I want everyone to leave me alone forever. Rest in peace, little P. Before I moved to Dubai, I spent every moment of my life with my family. My niece is gone, and I am in shock. You were my baby. I can't breathe. I'M COMING HOME."
She added to another post: "My sweetie pie. My baby! I bathed you, did your hair, and made your lunch for school every day. Someone took you away from me. I don't have words. I will never be OK."
We are sending positive and loving thoughts to Caroline and her family during this time. Rest well, Queen!
